Automatic Doorbell with PIR Motion Sensor

INTRODUCTION

Have you ever noticed that when you entered 7E there is a ding dong sound? Or when you enter a toilet, then suddenly the lamp turned on by itself? It’s actually using a Passive Infra-red (PIR) Motion Sensor. A sensor where it detects any heat that occurred to trigger the sensor. Let’s scroll down to get more info.

HARDWARE PREPARATION

This tutorial use :

  1. Maker UNO
  2. Low Cost PIR Sensor Module (Sound Sensor)
  3. Micro B USB

You can make the hardware connection based on the diagram and table below.

CONNECTION
PIR Sensor : VCCMaker UNO: 5V
PIR Sensor : GNDMaker UNO: GND
PIR Sensor : OutMaker UNO: pin 5
