Malaysian Makers: Eawan Razali

Perhaps we frequently heard about Maker Faire, Maker Movement and Maker Community. What actually maker is? The answers to this question are extremely varied and broad, however what we want to address today is about a person that makes or produces something, and since we are in robotic/electronic field, we just focus in this area. Introducing our 1st makers interview Mr. Eawan Razali.

Eawan Bin Razali

Bio:

Lahir di Tapah Road, Perak. Membesar sebagai anak seorang tentera, bertukar-tukar sekolah di serata Malaysia termasuk di negeri Sarawak. Mengambil Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) 9 Tahap 1 hingga 4 di CIAST, Shah Alam. Memulakan profesyen sebagai juruteknik automasi di kilang Perodua, Rawang. Kemudian mengambil SKM tahap 5 secara sambilan selepas berkerja selama 7 tahun. Sekarang bertugas sebagai jurutera automasi perkilangan.

Incident that spark your interest in programming/electronics:

Sememangnya saya sangat meminati bidang ini dari sejak kecil. Cuba bayangkan, semasa saya berumur 9 tahun, saya pernah menghidupkan motor permainan dengan bekalan kuasa 240Vac. Nasib baik tiada apa-apa kemalangan serius berlaku, hanya letupan kecil pada motor tersebut. Dan yang menarik, tiada siapa pun yang tahu. 😀
